Privacy Policy

Findings is designed to help you track the coins and cash you discover in everyday places. The app was built around a simple principle: both the Findings you discover and the data you create in the app should remain yours.

Findings does not collect, transmit, or monetize personal information.

Your Data

Everything you log in Findings (including Findings, notes, tags, photos, and optional location information) is stored on your device.

If you enable iCloud sync, this information may also be stored in your personal iCloud account so it can stay in sync across your devices. This data is stored using Apple's CloudKit infrastructure and remains associated with your Apple ID.

The developer of Findings does not have access to this information.

No Tracking or Data Collection

Findings does not include:

  • Advertising networks
  • Analytics or tracking frameworks
  • Third-party data collection services

The app does not collect personal information, build user profiles, or share data with third parties.

Optional Device Permissions

Some features of the app rely on optional system permissions.

Location

You may choose to attach a location to a Finding when logging it. If granted, the app can access your device's location to record where a discovery occurred.

Camera and Photos

You may optionally attach a photo to a Finding. If granted, the app can access the camera or photo library to capture or select an image.

These permissions are used only to support features you choose to use. You can disable them at any time through your device's system settings.

iCloud

If iCloud sync is enabled, your Findings may be stored in your personal iCloud account to keep your data consistent across devices. Apple manages the storage and security of iCloud data.

This privacy policy may be updated in the future to reflect changes to the app or its features. The most current version will always be available on this page.
