How do I log a new Finding?

Tap the "Log New Finding" button on the home screen, or press the Plus button at the top right of the Findings, History, and Insights tabs. Select the denominations you found from the visual grid, enter quantities, and optionally add a note, tags, location, or a photo. Your Finding is saved in just a few taps.

Does Findings sync across my devices?

Yes. Findings uses iCloud to sync your data automatically across all your devices signed into the same Apple ID. If iCloud is unavailable, the app falls back to local-only storage.

What currencies are supported?

Findings supports 31 international currencies with over 300 unique denominations:

How do I export my data?

Go to Settings > Export Data. Findings creates a ZIP archive containing all your Findings as JSON plus any attached photos. You can share this file however you like and import it back anytime.

Can I attach photos to a Finding?

Yes. During the logging process (step 3), you can capture a photo with your camera or choose one from your photo library. Photos are compressed efficiently and sync along with your other data.

How do I edit or delete a Finding?

To edit a Finding, tap into it to view its details, then press Edit in the top right. To delete a Finding, you can use the delete option at the bottom of the edit page or long-press the item in the history view. To delete all Findings at once, go to Settings and look under the Advanced section for Delete All Findings.

Is my data private?

Yes. Your data is stored locally on your device and synced through your personal iCloud account. Findings does not collect analytics, track your usage, or share your data with any third parties. For full details, read our Privacy Policy.

What iOS version is required?

Findings requires iOS 18 or later.

Is there an Android version?

Not at this time. Findings is currently available only on iPhone. We'd love to bring it to Android in the future, but we don't have a timeline to share yet.

Is there a web or desktop version?

Not currently. Findings is designed as a mobile-first experience on iPhone. We're open to exploring other platforms down the road, but for now our focus is on making the iOS app the best it can be.
